How far in advance did you book your Honeymoon???

We are starting to look at where we want to take our honeymoon (I know it's far out, but it's fun to plan!) we are thinking probably a Caribbean cruise out of Florida (We live in Cali, so we'd have to fly) and a few days at Disneyworld since we met at Disney & had our first kiss there! How far out...

How far out did you book your honeymoon?? I really have no idea when we should book it.

We booked our cruise about a year out just because we made the decision. With so much time, we ended up actually cancelling a rebooking to take advantage of a better package.

We just booked ours a couple weeks ago, about 3 months out. We knew there would be plenty of flights and we didn't have a specific hotel we wanted to stay at, so we weren't too worried about it. We still have to book some day tours, but at least flights and hotel are taken care of.

I would say it also depends on when and where you are going, too. We just booked our late June cruise less than 3 weeks ago (Mediterranean), and it appears we got a better deal for waiting vs booking months ago. But for flights, I think we are paying more because we just booked yesterday and it's an international flight during high tourist season. Also, hotels in Rome are selling out now and so I think we have less affordable options because we didn't book further in advance.

If it were a cruise out of FL though, I don't think we would have those flight price issues with a domestic flight though.

We just booked ours, so about 3.5 months out... we only waited because we couldn't figure out where to go, since we initially had our heart set on the Caribbean, but the zika virus changed that (we'll be trying to conceive).

We ended up deciding on a European cruise... and the prices were lower a couple months prior. So I definitely recommend booking as far out in advance as you can. And aside from flights, most bookings were refundable within a certain period of time if you're worried about changing your mind.

We still haven't!! But I would say that when I was looking at everything, Bora Bora ended up being cheaper than the Caribbean. Coming from the West Coast to east is $$ plus your honeymoon cost.

We just booked today and we are three and a half months out. I'm glad we waited because we got a better deal on the resort and flights plus a huge resort credit.

We booked our hotel around October but had to wait until around Christmas to book the flights.

We booked our Mediterranean cruise this month, so 6 months out. Our travel agent suggested waiting to book the flights though.

We haven't booked yet. We are going to honeymoon sometime in early 2017, not right away. The honeymoon planning hasn't been a top priority yet.

I just booked our two week trip to Maui and Oahu, and we are going at the end of August into September. One of the resorts that we are going to was almost full though!!

I booked ours last month, so about 4-5ish months. I prob would have booked it sooner if FH would have given me a straight answer
