How do I get the grooms and groomsmen shirts to match the bridesmaid colors?

Just take a swatch from the bridesmaids dress to the Tux shop

My only suggestion is to bring in one of the dresses/a swatch of color to the place where you plan on getting the groomsmen's gear from.

Bring with you a color swatch when you go to buy the shirts ... because that's the one way you are guaranteed to have them all be the same and may I ask why do you want your groom to match the bridesmaids? He should match you so he stands out a little bit.

If you don't have a material swatch... just raid the paint samples in the home improvement aisle and line those up to the dresses, find one that matches, and then carry the paint sample square around.

SoontobeMrs.D, My fiance and I chose the colors tangelo and pistachio from Alfred Angelo. The bridesmaid dress has both colors on it, and we want the groom in orange (the tangelo) and the groomsmen in the green (pistachio). He will stand out, but he doesn't want to wear white. He will match my bouquet which is going to be orange.

So no one knows of any retailers that sell shirts (not tuxes). I like the idea of bringing a color swatch, just not sure where to even go for shirts vs. tuxes. We've tried looking online at Tommy Bahama, a Cuban shirt retailer, old navy, and macys. All of the usual wedding shops are more formal than we're looking for.

I have seen TIES that match... but I think you will just need to go to Carsons/Yonkers/Bergners/Bon-ton/Herbergner whatever it is called by you, if you have one... just check out the men's department at the department stores to look for shirts.

I know the orange is not bright enough, but you maybe able to find a green you like.

are they wearing ties? black ties would look nice.

Kohls usually has a wide array of colors of men's dress shirts. You might try there.
