How did you ask your bridesmaids??

How did you ask your bridesmaid to be your bridesmaids? Did you make them a box? Or a bottle of wine or a card?

I sent one a text (she lives across the country) and I asked the other two in person.

I did a box it was cute. Inside the lid I wrote, Will You Be My Bridesmaid? I made t shirts with their initial and position in the wedding, a mini bottle of mascoto, and a wine glass. They loved them.

I made them boxes. Each had some cute hair ties in the wedding colors with a card that said "to have and to hold your hair back", a stemless wine glass with their name on it, a mini bottle of wine, a makeup bag with their name on it, and a piece of jewelry that was unique to each girl.

I get that the box/proposal thing is super unneccessary, but I had a lot of fun putting them together and my girls really loved them.

My FH has not figured out what he's going to do with his GMs yet but that's another story Smiley smile

I did a picture frame (4 by 6) with some michaels flowers glued onto side in my wedding colors and used a paint pen to write "bridesmaid" in paint pen. I'm not into big deal pop the question things, unless your bridesmaid can eat it/use it people get way to into a big kit for the question and the girls like never use it anyways!

I had a small notecard and a little knotted-style hair tie on a "Will you help me tie the knot?" card for all the bridesmaids, junior, and flower girls.

However, only two of the bridesmaids (flowers girls and junior all did) actually got asked that way. I asked my best friend (MoH) and her sister (BM) before I had the cards and hair ties, and then gave them those later. And then I texted one of my other friends to ask because I was so impatient. For two of them I mailed it (and then had to text to confirm one of them even got it after a couple weeks because I never heard back :-P) and the flower girls and last BM got the card and asked together in person.

I'll be giving them flannel getting ready shirts (not embroidered, so they can wear them again) and makeup zipper pouches with their jewelry in them sometime soon.

    Edit: grammar
