How are you surprising your spouse for your wedding?

Taking him to a rooftop canopy we have discussed for awhile for dinner afterwards. It is very nice and will be a nice upscale way to end the evening I think, which he will love.

That’s super cute. My fiancé loves art and he is an architect. On our first date we were walking along the river and we stopped at this kid play area with this giant fish. It’s designed so the kids can run in its mouth. On the date my fiancé asked if I liked it and I told him I did. He then said he designed it.


So I want to commission an artist to paint the fish and give it to him as a present.

He was half jokingly suggesting all these Star Wars things to be integrated into our wedding but when it came to decision time, he acknowledged that he was more into Star Wars than me so we could skip the Star Wars things.


I got him cuff links that say “I love you. I know” with our wedding date as his day of gift. And my garter is a darth Vader black and red garter.

Can’t wait to see his face!

I got it in red, as Raphael was my favourite as a child. The bonus of it being red (not as the one above), is that it will match my top and flowers.

I like the personalised army garter. That's so sweet. And I like the funfetti star wars cake too, as I'm a fan of multicoloured things, as well as cake.

I plan to surprise him with bridal lingerie set and some naughty stuff (bed bondage) for that night. Since it’s a destination wedding, I will surprise him with luau or helicopter ride. Still can’t decide which one.

I bought him a sword. He had no idea that he picked it out either when I had shown him a few different SCA/LARP ready swords (blunt edges, but still hurts when in is whacked with it). I can't wait to give it to him. I even got the care kit for it.

My FHs grandmother passed away in February. She already had her outfit picked out for our wedding so I’m getting a handkerchief made for him out of the dress!

My bridesmaid is a wedding photographer and she also does boudoir photo shoot for brides to be. So she's going to do a boudoir photo shoot of me and make a nice photo album for it as well. So on the day of the wedding I'm going to give him the photo album with the boudoir photos.

My FH is red-green colorblind, so I am hoping to get him some EnChroma colorblind glasses. We have had to change our plans because of COVID, so we are probably going to have an outdoors ceremony and reception. Most of the time he cannot see fall colors, so hopefully with the glasses, he'll be able to see how beautiful the colors outside are.
