How are you planning on making your elopement special?

Hmmmm I agree. So you saw my bridal brunch. I am thankful for the gifts people gave but it was not requested or asked and basically even for what we are doing everyone that attended understood but were just happy to be there. I still wanted some pre wedding festivities and the day of for me I wanted it to feel as bridal as possible. I am wearing a fully wedding dress, we are having a ceremony at a venue and I am paying for pictures plus having a wedding cake. Like you we are taking our two friends that are guests to a rooftop lounge and I reserved us a canopy for a couple of hours. My FH does not know but he has mentioned him and I going there a few times I a figured I would surprise him. I am having a bouquet and professional pics plus wedding cake. I have seen some lovely courthouse weddings that took elements to make the day feel special.

Our elopement ended up turning into a small minimony with about 30 of our closest family and friends. They will watch us get married and then my family will prepare dinner for everyone. We plan on doing our first dance and playing the shoe game as well. We aren’t doing a DJ but we will have a photographer for a couple of hours. We rented out meeting space at a hotel. 9 days to go!

To make it special (we had a small elopement with 7 people) we wrote our own vows which was my favorite and so sentimental! We had a photographer who captured all the candid moments and ones where we wanted to pose a certain way. Also we gave each other a special gift.
