Hotel stay night before wedding

I wish I had! My MOH stayed in my room with me and I wanted to strangle her Haha. I say do it! It would be good to have a mellow night alone

If you know your family will bother you then I totally would. Avoid drama at all costs lol.

Yep I did! Never considered otherwise hahaha. It was sooo nice to just have time alone. Especially because I slept really poorly (woke up at 4:45am and couldn’t fall back asleep until 8...) so the fact that I was alone allowed me to walk around and do stuff or toss and turn without worrying about disturbing someone else. Also that night before bed getting to take a long shower and then come out to an empty quiet room and get into pjs and relax in bed was some MUCH needed me-time between the chaos of the rehearsal dinner and the wedding itself.

I'm planning on staying in the bridal suite the night before the wedding by myself. I'm actually looking forward to it. I know myself and know i won't sleep the best the night before so no reason for someone else's sleep to be disturbed by me not being able to sleep. Plus I think it will be relaxing to have some time to myself.

Yesssss! I stayed with my best friend. After the rehearsal dinner we stayed in a hotel room st the hotel, it was probably a very low key way to end the night but I was so relaxed, not hung over and refreshed in the morning. I was also able to have that nervous excitement, rehash old memories with her one last time the night before. My mom is deceased so she was my next best thing!

For my first wedding, I stayed alone. Otherwise, I imagine I would’ve been up talking all night with my MOH. But our wedding was local and my ex-husband was able to spend the night at my house. This time it’s a destination wedding, so FH and I will sleep in the afternoon so that he can get dressed in another room. There won’t be a lot of hassle since we’re not having a bridal party.

Anyway, that was supposed to say that... FH and I will sleep in the same room that night and in the afternoon we’ll separate to get dressed...

I wish I had. I stayed in my grandparent's hotel room and it was a nightmare. I got up really early to shower and wash my hair which meant I had to dry it. My grandmother was freaking out because she didn't want me using a hairdryer because it would wake my grandfather. I used it anyways because I needed to dry my hair. I also had a bunch of stuff in their room for the wedding so she wanted me to make one trip so I wasn't going in and out of the room because again she didn't want to wake my grandfather. I ended up misplacing my jewelry because everything was so disorganized and my mom and bridesmaids had to look for my jewelry for 30-45 minutes which meant less pictures. If I could do it again, I would have either stayed by myself or with someone else as dealing with my grandparents was a nightmare.

I stayed with my MoH and her sister and it was great! Their room had two queen beds and they generously shared so I could have a bed to myself. This time allowed me to give my MoH her gifts in private, which were a bit nicer than my bridesmaids' gifts.

FH stayed in our room alone, and if staying with them wasn't an option, we would have paid for a room for me to have to myself. There's no one else I could have stayed with and not gone insane!!

I would torture myself if this was me. I'd just stay awake and be all anticipating the next day and go to bed way too late and be not refreshed the next day.

My FH and I have lived together for 3+ years and whenever he leaves on business its always super hard to fall asleep without him, especially the first night. We will be staying together the night before the wedding, but if it was really important for us to be separate the night before I'd want to stay with my MOH and pretend it was a sleepover like back when we were teens.

We got an air band so I’ll be in one room and my sister (MOH) will be in the other room because I don’t want to be alone in a big house by myself!

I am...my FH wants me to because he doesn't want me stressed out.

I think I'm doing this. I booked our room the night before and for the wedding night just in case. I don't sleep well at my parents house which is closer to the venue than my home.
