Hotel Recommendations

We were lucky enough to have 3 hotel options that worked in a partnership with our venue. Two of them were Hilton (one was a Hilton Suites, the other a Hilton Garden Inn) and we chose the Hilton Suites. Hilton, as a whole, has always been incredibly easy to work with for me - even before I became an honors member lol. The ONLY downside was that they did charge per-bag to hand out welcome bags when guests checked in. We didn't do them simply for that fact, but it's apparently pretty common to do that, so beware.

Hilton - or at least the one we were at - was really easy to work with regarding rooms that didn't fill. I believe it was 80% of rooms that we had to fill in order not to be charged. Anything below 80% we would have had to pay for. But instead of having a block of 50 rooms or whatever, we started with 10. As those rooms filled, we added 5 more. Then 5 more. I think in the end, we had maybe one or two rooms that didn't book, so we were well over the 80% and therefore not charged.

We used Marriott, I liked it since they had an online portal to use and let us start with a complimentary block then add rooms as we filled up.
