    Hey Tori,

We reserved at two different hotels. We were just working on this Saturday and this is what I came up with (there will be 2 diff inserts)

    The Night before the wedding

There is a block of rooms being held at the Hampton Inn, Franklin, MA. There will be a social for all out of town guests at five o’clock in the evening.

To reserve a room contact the hotel at:

    The night of the wedding

There is a block of rooms being held at the Hampton Inn, Seekonk, MA. There will be a shuttle from the reception to the Hotel. If you choose to stay at the hotel, please proceed from the church to the hotel, where you can get the shuttle to the reception. Susy and Elens are excited for your to celebrate their wedding, but want you to travel safely and responsibly.

I received block cards from our hotel, they were really heavy paper and the hotel expected us to cut them( 4 cards to a sheet) they looked terrible. I ended ordering business cards online from staples. They have all sorts of background themes. They turned out beautiful,it cost me $15.00 and it won't weigh the invite down. We were able to get alot of info on the cards, including our website address. Smiley smile

I put the room block info on the same card as the map.

For your convenience, a block of rooms have been reserved at XYZ Hotel. If you would like to stay at the hotel, please

call 1-800 (phone number) before (cut off date). Tell them that you are with the Jones-Smith wedding party and you will receive a discount on the cost of the room.

Double room $price. King $price Suite $price (if they gave you different prices)

Did you talk to the hotel.. do you get to use their shuttle if you book X-number of rooms? If you get a shuttle, put that info on there too.

I got this from the hotel that I blocked rooms with. And I found this article pretty helpful in terms of ideas for my email that I need to send to wedding guests. http://grouptravel.org/wedding/sample-wording-for-wedding-room-block-info/

    Hope that helps!
