I need a place to vent. My husband and I got back from our honeymoon yesterday and have a phone conference scheduled with the owner of the DJ company we hired this afternoon. Let me start off by saying that we did not cheap out on this service. We needed a bilingual DJ and hired a company based in Miami and Chicago that "specializes" in this. It wasn't an easy find and we read reviews online, had multiple phone meetings before making this decision. We debated hiring a local person who would be a lot cheaper but didn't have bilingual reception experience, but eventually went with the bigger company because we know how much a DJ matters.
Fast forward to our wedding day. This is after multiple conversations confirming everything and we were told everything was good to go. I had given them my day of coordinators contact info as well as the manager of our venue.
