Hoping this is the thing that goes wrong... 5 days out

Not a question, just a slight rant/ freak out. I was even too stressed to share it yesterday.

Hoping for no more surprises.... Yesterday as we were driving the last hour into our out of state wedding week. We stopped to check out this awesome opera house in this tiny mountain town in Colorado. Then the car wouldn't start. It took 4.5 hours to get a town truck, FH got sun burnt, and by the time we made it into Denver the shop closed in 20 minutes.

So now a day behind, and still with no car, we are taking transit into the city to get our marriage license. The shop thinks it's just the battery, crossing my fingers, it will be done early today.

I know this will be a story to tell in the future, but no ideal for my perfectionist, anxiety filled self at the moment... Oh and did I mention daughter's concussion and broken wrist last week.... Ready for smooth sailing.
