Honeymoon weeks after wedding

Has anyone had a small break in time from the wedding until the honeymoon? If we do a cruise, it's possible there will be 2 weeks between the wedding and the honeymoon. If we do all inclusive resort, just a few days. I know I want to take off a few days after the wedding. I've joked and said maybe I could just take 4 weeks off.

And who knows....our situation could be different then and I may not even be in the workforce, working on some plans and goals to change all of that.

We're not going on ours until 5-6 months later because we get married right before the semester starts (and we'll both hopefully be teaching by then). We're using our DW as a mini moon though.

We're waiting two months because of school and I'm really glad we're waiting. We're missing hurricane season and it's nice knowing we have another big event coming up!

We are just going on a mini-moon to Maine right after the wedding and we will go on a honeymoon six months later to Europe.

Ours will probably be about a month. FH is a teacher and we are getting married in the beginning of June. We'll have to wait until July to go away when he's out for the summer.

We were going to wait a year before having a honeymoon as we spend all our budget in the wedding but my FH parents gave us a surprise cruise leaving the very next day so either way you do what is best for you and when you heart desires.

We are getting married over my spring break from grad school in March and taking our honeymoon over the summer after I graduate. We are taking a "mini moon" to unwind a for few days after the wedding to somewhere local

We're getting married in September and going on our honeymoon in January. We have a couple reasons for it. We both work in hotels, and taking enough time off for the wedding and the honeymoon isn't gonna happen. The second reason is that his aunt gave us use of her time share in Mazatlan, so we are going to take advantage of that. But you can take your honeymoon whenever you want. It's totally up to you.

We got married 7/30/16 and aren't leaving for our honeymoon (a cruise!) until December 4th. With my work schedule it just worked out better this way.

We are getting married April 29th and our honeymoon isn't until the end of August. I'm marrying a farmer and the week after the wedding will start planting season and we won't have a open week until August!

Although nothing is confirmed yet, we are looking at a cruise for our Honeymoon, which would depart on November 7th, which will be a little more than 3 weeks after the wedding.

We weren't specifically looking to delay our departure, however, now that it's been thrown out there as an idea, I like that we will still be around to visit with any out-of-towners who don't leave immediately, as well as having an opportunity to wind-down. Even if we don't do this cruise, I don't think I will want to leave right after the wedding.

We are waiting like 6 months to go on our honeymoon we decided it will leave something to look forward to once the wedding is over and because we rather go somewhere warm when it's cold at home!

We waited about a month before taking our honeymoon. The timing just worked better. I have friends who got married in June and still haven't taken their honeymoon yet. I don't see any reason to rush it!

Our wedding is in December so we scheduled our honeymoon for March of next year. FH can't get the time off until then. Honestly, I rather wait, we will be able to save up more money to have a more enjoyable time. There is no set time frame for a honeymoon!

There's 6 months between our wedding and honeymoon. We took the week off after the wedding to hang out together sans wedding stress and it's been great.

We got married 8/13, but we're not going on our HM until 12/17. DH is in nursing school, so we got married before the semester started, and we're going on the HM when the semester is over.
