Hi everyone! My husband and I will be taking our honeymoon in October 2019. We are headed to the Maldives. Has anyone been? If so, what was it like? Thank you!

Oh my gosh, I'm so excited for you!

Husband and I are still over the moon from our honeymoon in April of last year. It was warm and humid, and funny thing...being in the ocean water felt warmer than being out of it!
If you or your husband are taller than 5'10", I HIGHLY recommend upgrading your seats if flying economy. My husband is 5'11", we flew economy on Singapore Air - poor thing couldn't get comfortable on a looooong flight from Los Angeles to Seoul, then Seoul to Singapore. We upgraded to premium economy for our return flights.
A friend of mine advised us to spend a few days in Singapore before heading to the Maldives, which we heeded. We spent the first day unconscious, sleeping in haha. I'm glad we did, because we wanted to be fully present for the Maldives!
