Honeymoon ideas ?

My fiancé and I never planned on taking a honeymoon since we were going to just save the money for house repairs and what not. However, my parents were generous enough to let us use their timeshare so we decided we wanted to go to Southern California. We have both been there separately, but never together, and we really like the area since there’s so much to do. We will be closer to the San Diego area , but have decided that 2 of the days we would make the trip up to LA and Anaheim. But we aren’t sure what’s great to do in our immediate area ! Any great restaurants , activities, or places to visit in the San Diego/Escondido area ?
