Hey y’all! We’re getting married on 3/7/2020 the Saturday before our spring break starts! (We’re both teachers) we live in East Texas (Kilgore to be exact) and my FH is very much an introvert. I have my heart set on Philly but I know it’ll be too crowded for my FH. Any ideas on honeymoon destination in TX, or anywhere in the states that is affordable and not congested with people? Thanks in advance!

I would do a cabin that's near stuff too so but a bit isolated. Blue ridge, GA is nice.

Galveston or Corpus Christi? Both have beautiful beaches, though Galveston may be more on the touristy side. It is possible to find some nice quiet stretches though away from the strand. Corpus may be quieter and less people.

You could do a cabin in/near Gatlinburg or Branson. It's beautiful (in different ways) both places, and unless you go to the "touristy" areas, less crowded. Plus if you do a cabin type thing, then you have a place to escape to when he's feeling overwhelmed.
