We did all inclusive! Our hotel has some cool activities and tours, etc that was included so it just seemed like the best deal for us! Also, it took away a lot of our stress by not having to worry about how much money we need to set aside after the wedding just to eat, travel, etc

We decided all inclusive because we didn't want to worry about food or anything! We just want to relax and enjoy our time! Also that means food and booze is budgeted for! It made planning easier, and everything we above that will be for excursions and stuff!

I can’t imagine not doing an all inclusive ... it just seems like a waste of money.

We are doing an all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic and I am SO. Darn. Excited. We found an awesome package deal through Costco so it was super affordable!

ALLL INCLUSIVEEEE !!! my fiancé and I love all inclusives because everything is included except some excursions. But its very worry free !!! However, some places do not offer all inclusives like anywhere in the US, puerto rico, europe. So depending on where you want to go you may not have an option of all inclusive or not

We're looking at both honestly. We aren't big travelers. Both of us are pretty white and don't want to be sunburned and miserable at the end of May on our honeymoon. Also, we're not wanting to break the bank for a week vacation. We want it to be special, but we're small town simple and don't need fancy. We've looked into Cozumel at an all inclusive resort if we decide to go that route. We're also looking at just traveling to some state and staying at an AirBnB or something cheaper so we can go see some local places, try the local foods, fishing trip/excursions, etc.

We are doing a tour in China and I don’t think they had any all inclusive options. This will be my first time outside of the country though so I’m budgeting for all kinds of souvenirs!

I've noticed that there aren't a lot of all inclusives in the states, Dana. Have you and your FS stayed in one in the U.S.?

Both sound like a good idea, Mandy! I've never been to an all inclusive myself, so I tend to lean toward finding a town and hanging around for a couple of days, seeing what's going on. Do you know if you want more of an adventurous honeymoon or a relaxing one?

My fiancé is military so he’s lived in Germany, Korea, etc. Needless to say, a honeymoon to Hawaii just wasn’t going to cut it. Originally we wanted to do Japan, (and may do this next year for our anniversary) but got an amazing deal on a 10 day tour to China.

I've been on a cruise (he hasn't) and that's about the most traveling I've done. I'd love to have a little of both. We both like fishing so if we could find an excursion or somewhere nearby a small town to go fishing that'd be great. Other than that, something to relax and get away from the real world. Not looking to break the bank and a lot of the honeymoons I've seen are like $4k+ and that's just not happening for us. I can't justify spending that for one week personally when we have plans to build a house and a future.

I would have LOVED to book all-inclusive, but our budget didn’t allow us for a big honeymoon. I found a cheap condo to rent from VRBO in Destin FL and we saved so much money Smiley smile
