HONEST opinions please! Beatles themed wedding?

I love the idea. My photographer took a pic for another wedding where she climbed up a light post or soemthing. Just so she could take a pictures of all the guys walking across the street....like the famous Beetles pic. It was awesome.

I think it's a great idea, FH would never let me do it though. He doesn't know as of yet but I've placed at least a couple Beatles songs on our playlist.

Do the Steeler's Grooms cake and a Steelers Garter. But everything else, Beatles!

I think it's a really cool idea - particularly if you name the tables after the songs, and I really like the apple thing and the strawberry centerpieces. Maybe having a neutral-ish black and white color palette and having these amazing colorful dresses and centerpieces would be the best way to showcase the whimsy. Plus, the groomsmen can have that '60s suit look in just simple black and white.

I think this is a great idea. It would be lots of fun to incorparate the albums.

You can name the tables after Beatles Songs/Albums.

I think the steelers garter and the beatlle them would be great. You even could use some of the singles they made indivisually for dance songs. I thinking of the John Lennon song used in Mr. Holland's Opus for mother/son dance. My Fh thinks it called"Pretty baby boy".You could use fun pasley or pokadot prints for your bm aand the flower girl like some of the mini dresses from the late 60's.

I don't know how weddingish you could make it but I've seen invitations that are CD's...with some imagination I think it could be done quite elegantly.

I LOVE the idea! Actually, we're going to be putting "all you need is love" on one of our cake tiers...so you could steal thate idea!!

Okay so here's what I've got so far:

-strawberry (maybe w/ crystals) centerpieces, apple table labels w/ album~song names

-Steelers groom's cake, Steelers surprise garter

-Beatles songs for processional, recessional, possible 1st dance

-All You Need is Love STDs

-Abbey Road "pose" for engagement pics / wedding pics

-I'm thinking either black, grey, or silver for BMs dresses (I don't know how many I'm going to have yet) with different color sashes

-Possibly incorporating blank CDs into decorations

-Birdcage veil

-I think I'll do my bouquet with a lot of colors, and then the BMs and boutonnieres with white lillies (not calla)

It's not my style, but it sounds like you're really excited about it, so you should go for it.

Oh My, I LOVE the Beetles! I wish I'd thought of this! Too late now, LOL

They have GREAT love songs - and great songs in general! I LOVE the apple idea! Maybe a yellow/white wedding with hints of green?

I did one last fall where they had a Beatles cover band. I don't remember any other Beatles-type things, but the band was really good, and their "gimmick" was that not one of them was older than 16. The band played during cocktails and maybe dinner (can't remember) and the dj played after.

As a Beatles fan, I think it's a GREAT idea! For colors I'm thinking just COLORFUL, like the All You Need is Love video! Or I'm thinking black and white like some of the album covers, but that might be a little boring. Keep us posted on what you come up with!

A BEATLES theme is an awsome idea. Dont forget celophane flowers.
