Okay ladies... I have an entire wedding planned and now we have a potential change in plans. My Fiance and I are big time hockey fans and we may have an opportunity to get married on the ice at the NHL arena. If we do, we would be having our reception in the club after a hockey game. It is dang hard to find ideas online for not so cheesy decor and we don't need a ton of decor, just maybe a few little decorating ideas.
Things we are doing:
- Our wedding rings will be tied to a hockey puck (rather than a pillow), the puck is from the game we got engaged at.
- We have hockey pucks for guests to sign as our wedding guest book.
- I think if we do table numbers we will definitely do players names and numbers
- Our Save the Dates were sent out and were in the form of hockey tickets
- I have found wedding invitations that can be custom made with our logo and team colors.
If anyone has any other ideas or maybe websites or blogs to direct me to, I would appreciate that. I can't do anything Stanley Cup related because we haven't won a cup yet and can't have that bad ju ju.
