Help!!!!

Ally, on October 8, 2020 at 2:26 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 3

I need help with decorations. Due to Covid-19, We have decided to do a 180 turn around from our original plan. We have decided to do a small church wedding with a light reception with deserts and coffee. However, I have no idea what to do for decorations for the church or for the little area that we are having the reception at.

P.S. the church has a yellow tent to it. And the walls for the light reception are purple, yellow and orange....

And the wedding is in 50 days...

Seems like tea-time theme would fit! Marry Poppins, or Alice in Wonderland. Small tables, colorful pastel colors, cute coffee/tea cups, cute dessert plates. All plastic available if you prefer. Garden flowers on vases. Lantern as decoration.

Hi Ally! Are there any decorating restrictions? I know a lot of churches have rules about what kind of decorations are allowed, or if there are any restrictions about attaching things to the walls!

For the ceremony you could do aisle or pew decor (candles or flowers), or have a floral arrangement behind you upfront!

For the reception you could set up a few tables with pretty linens, votive lights, and mini centerpieces:

You could also set up a pretty table with pictures of you and your fiancé(e) or from your parents & grandparents' weddings!

With all those crazy colors, I would try to stay as neutral as possible. Greenery, white candles, white flowers. Help!!!! 3
