Help!!!! Wrong wedding website

Brooke, on August 7, 2018 at 8:52 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
I can’t believe what I did!! On EVERY invitation (300 of them) my wedding website address is wrong! On the invitation, It is where everyone is told to RSVP to, or email (wrote in “or email ****@****.***”) I spent 60+ hours making our website from scratch & it just went all to heck because no one is going to see it 😭 Please help!!
-I have put in a support ticket to Wix asking (more like pleading & begging) them for help to redirect people from the wrong address to the correct one. They have not replied with a solution yet Smiley sad

Would it be possible to print little notes explaining the situation and with the right address and sticking them in the envelope with the invitations?

They all went out to be delivered on Monday & we just realized the problem last night Smiley sad I think I’m going to personally FB message all of the guests that I can, explaining what happened & attaching the link to the correct website. But I can’t find the words to type

Is the site you have listed on all your invitations a domain you can obtain? If so - post an explanation and link to for people to follow to your proper page.

We made wedding invitations and ordered them only to find out once they arrived that the wedding day was wrong. It said something like Friday August 30th when our wedding was actually Friday August 31. Needless to say we had to order new ones.

I did this with our save the dates. I bit the bullet and ordered funny replacements. For example, it had wording, like "oh sh**" with an "oh sh**" picture of us that including the right web address. I balled because of it, but everyone thought it was awesome and humble to send the whoopsy funny postcard replacement.

    Thank you everybody.
    Same Laura! SAME 😭

So far, these sent as Facebook messages are going great! “Oops! Alex & I messed up! Here is the correct link to RSVP:” and “Oops! Alex & I messed up! This is the correct wedding website to RSVP to:
    Thank you for RSVPing!”
People are very understanding & kindly said thank you. I have also noticed that this message is pretty much reminding/nudging people to RSVP!!
