Help with ceremony vows and readings!?!

Have you spoken with your officiant? Ours provided us with several examples for readings, etc.

Ummmmmm, that is what your wedding officiant is being paid to do! (Not to sound nasty, please)

It is your officiant’s job to locate readings and other elements to include. Have you done a search on the forum for readings? There are countless posts with ideas.

Are there any poems or readings that have meaning to you? I chose a poem I’ve loved since college, and it just happened to be appropriate for a wedding. Do you want something traditional or different? Google will definitely bring up a lot of options to choose from as well, and hopefully you can find one that expresses what you want to say

My fiance and I are also struggling with finding things to use/read for our ceremony. Do you have any special interests that you could incorporate? I am a dancer, so we have decided to include a short dance film in our ceremony. It is around 3 minutes long and it is performed to a worship song. I chose to include it because it would be meaningful to me. My fiance chose to do communion because that would be meaningful to him. My advice would be to try to stay away from having a reading for the sake of having a reading. You want your ceremony to be meaningful to you and your future husband.
