Help! We had to change our wedding venue too close to the date!!

HELP!

Our original venue promised to have a number of construction projects added to the space before our nuptials. Sadly, I believed in them, especially the Event Planner, as she reassured my fiance and I would have everything ready before our big day in ONE MONTH! We found a new venue, minutes away from our old venue.

What is the best way to communicate this to our wedding guests? Luckily, we only have 85 people total. I have looked into sending out "change of location" postcards to expedite out to the group asap... OR, should I send out evites to everyone on our list?!

I like the change of venue postcard idea but I would personally also try to reach out to as many as your guest as possible with a phone call. Good luck. Sorry this happened to you ☹️

Oh no! I am so sorry this is happening to you, but I am glad you were able to get another venue with such little time. I like the postcard idea or the evites idea.

Hey Ashley! I'm so sorry that this happened with your original venue but it's so great that you found a new one and in such close proximity to the previous one!
I think sending a 'Change of Location' card sounds like a great idea. Your guests will appreciate the thought.
Do you have a wedding website? If so, I would also include it here just in case!
As a pp mentioned, I would also reach out to guests individually over the phone to ensure they have gotten the message. You can't be too careful and certainly don't want some of your guests showing up to the wrong venue!
