Be sure they allow open flames/Candelabras. You might need to do candles that are inside glass votives.

Welcome to WW Ashley ~ congrats!

Thanks you guys! These are great ideas! It is funny because I actually found a soap mold I bought last year that is all victorian style! I don't know what I could use soap for though haha.

I am sort of doing a similar theme mine is vintage victorian and I am using lots of doilies (spelling?) flowers (soft flowers like hydrangea, roses, peonies) lots of pale pinks, dusty rose colors. I am using tea cups, cameos, lace etc. Here's a couple pics of things from my wedding for inspiration Smiley smile and congrats!

1st pic is what I will be using on sugar cookies for the dessert table (she will be putting these designs on them)

2nd is cupcakes for the dessert table

3rd pic is some of my decor

Can the soap mold be used as a chocolate mold or is it too big, Ashley?

The soap molds may be too big for chocolate, but maybe that would work! Because who doesn't like chocolate? I was going to use the soap for favors, but I just don't know how many people would actually like soap. And my MOH showed me a picture of a cupcake with one of those victorian style women on it. My mom wants to make the cupcakes so I think that would be a cute idea. Gosh girls, thank you guys so so much. I love this community more and more each day. Smiley smileSmiley smileSmiley smile And I am going to scrowl back through and look at everything and write it all down. Going to be through my 2nd wedding notebook soon! HAHA!

I love all those website things! Omgosh! I am so excited! And I am using paper doillies. my MOH got those for me too. Smiley smile Our wedding flowers are Roses because FH's mom passed away in May and we wanted to incorporate her. With Roses and Black and Purple for colors and flowers because those were her favorite, but maybe I will also have White calla Lilly's too just for that extra flower.

Victorian Trading Co is a great resource for things related to the Victorian theme! They have great hats, dresses and accessories (fans, umbrellas).
