Help! Pregnant and baby due 2mths before wedding!!!

Soon2Bmrse, on November 11, 2018 at 7:31 AM Posted in Planning 0 19
I just found out I'm pregnant baby is due 6/29/19 my wedding is 9/1/19. This was NOT planned but something we both wanted after the wedding. We're excited BUT what will do with a newborn at a wedding?!! I plan on breastfeeding do they make nursing wedding gowns? lol!!!! I haven't picked a dress and not too much worried about my weight as I am somewhat "plus" anyway. The wedding is outdoor and the reception is on a yacht in the evening. Guest count is about 50. We're not thrilled with the idea of bringing the baby but no clue who to ask to stay behind? We haven't told our families yet. So some advice is truly needed here!!!

I had my son two mkntgs before my first wedding. We hired a friends teenager who was well known for being a great babysitter to be our “wedding nanny”. She was in charge of the majority of his care for the day, diaper changes feeding making sure that he slept in his car seat. She was able to sit outside the ceremont with him to keep him out of the general hubbub of the wedding, while still having him right away available for snuggles, Kisses and photos. Some of my favorite photos from the wedding, despite the marriage not working out, are you of me and my tiny baby. Having a baby at the wedding really is not a big deal, and trust me you will love having him/her close by, just takes a little extra planning. I highly recommend finding s I highly recommend finding someone that you trust, who is not related/important in the bridal party, to watch your baby when the time comes! Hiring our friends daughter was hands down the best thing for both my son, and for me to be worry free and enjoy the day! I knew he was being held and loved and cared for and I could sit back and enjoy just getting married! Here are some photos of me at my first wedding with my son.

Well double Congratulations first secondly. That’s going to be a hard choice I think Because anyone you would really trust with your newborn baby is probably a VIP wedding guest. But with a smaller guest list you still may have someone you really trust who you weren’t able to invite. I’d look in that list of people first maybe. Or have someone not attend the reception and take the baby home after the ceremony. We had our mothers on grandma duty and at around 7pm take the kid. But our son is 5 and our wedding was in a familiar place to him.

Ask your dress coordinator about the dress I'm sure they are very used to dealing with this!

Care.com would be a good choice, and you have time to build a bond with someone.

Keep in mind that if your child is only two months old and you’re breastfeeding, you may not be able to be away from him/her for that long anyway. While pumping is an option, not all babies take bottles easily and your wedding could be 3-4 feedings at that age.

We're more than likely will have little one at the reception. Besides nursing we'll be in the middle of the ocean at night and no way to leave in case of emergency.

Those photos are absolutely ADORABLE! I love them. This is somewhat of a concern of mine because my FH wants kids immediately (before 35) and would like to start trying now. We're about 11 months out from the wedding but this post has given me some insight.

My cousin has given birth two or three weeks before having to be MOH in her sisters wedding. She ended up finding someone who is a nurse and specializes in newborns to look after her. I would suggest both nanny and baby be at wedding or near you but if you can find someone who is a nurse (friend of a friend or family friend) they might even be able to recommend someone or can do it themselves

Thank you!! It’s definitely Italy possible to have a baby at the wedding, just requires some forthought as to who will care for the little one while mom and dad are celebrating!

They are my favorite photos from that wedding, obviously! I kept all of our pictures in case he wants to see them someday, but I keep these special one’s on my phone because I love that he was able to be at our day! He’s walking me down the aisle for this wedding, and we are both SO excited!!

First of congrats. Are you planning on pumping? You can pump breast milk ahead of time keep it in a cooler for the wedding or if someone lived nearby there fridge. (They can pick it up in way to reception) then put it I. The fridge in the yatch at the reception. Have one of the grandparents if they are able to watch the baby at the wedding.
