I need help planning a wedding in 2 months. I don't have any family support. My fiance and I have been together for 8 years and decided to get married. We got a beautiful beach front venue, a dj, offiiciant, and our wardrobe. Our budget is tight but I still wanted family and friends to be there. It's pretty sad that I don't have family support but this community is very helpful. Can anyone give me ideas or tips?

I planned my wedding in 10 weeks by myself. It was on the beach in Florida and we had 53 people come. I kept it as simple as I could and did as much as I could myself. Remember that it’s not about all of the stuff that you buy or do as much as it is about having friends and family to celebrate with you so keep it simple and fun. What we found was most important was good food, good music and an open bar and it was great. Ask for help from any friends that will assist you and don’t be afraid to let them do things. Good luck! You can do this!!

Hey Soon!! Don’t worry, this is totally doable! You have made a really great start by booking so many of your vendors!
Have you sent out any Save the Dates to your guests? If not, then perhaps you should start thinking about sending your invitations out ASAP to allow your guests to plan their travel.
Does your venue provide catering, or is this something that you need to book separately?
