Help picking a wedding photographer for a fall wedding please

I personally like #1 because of the editing and style but perhaps see you can get 1 reference from each photographer and hear first hand what was good and bad. That may help you to decide. HTH

I would ask to see photos from both of the photographers of a wedding they did recently. one has photos of a family which could make me think they could shoot a wedding but doesn't necessarily mean they can but the other has no gallery which worries me as well.

The second doesnt appear to do weddings. Have you reached out to either to get a quote or talk about your needs? Having a personal connection with your photographer is almost as important as liking their style.

That being said, the editing style of the first is too white and washed out for my taste. Especially for a fall wedding I would want those colors to really pop and be vibrant. I prefer the editing style of the second if they actually do weddings and are experienced with them.

I will echo what Elycia said; the second photog doesn't have any mentions of weddings and the first one has a very very white/bright style that doesn't quite say moody or fall to me, personally.

But if you like the light and airy look (as you mention), I say go with number two because she is nailing that vibe, and just because you are having a fall wedding doesn't mean you have to have photos that are saturated with a million colors.
