Help! My invitations are wrong. What do I do?

Bayley, on January 28, 2017 at 8:18 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

It was just brought to my attention that our wedding invitations (that my fiancé and I both proofed many times) have the wrong day of the week on them. They say Saturday March 26 instead of Sunday March 26. What should I do? Everything else has the correct information. Do I trust that everyone will figure it out? Do we send out correction cards to everyone? Help!

I wouldn't trust people to figure it out. Is the placement in such a way that you can print the date on a label or sticker and cover it?

How many invites did you send out?

Ugh. Start calling and texting people immediately. They might be requesting off from work, making travel plans, etc.

If you have a small guest list, I would start calling everyone to clarify the date. Otherwise, mailing a correction card might be your best option.

We mailed out about 50 Invitations. Ugh... I feel so stupid.
