Help me pick alcohol so everyone can get drunk

Haven't read everything but can you do a local IPA, like Yards IPA?

My dad also must have Rolling Rock. We get to choose two bottled beers and I have to pick Rolling Rock as one.

And we have an open bar!!!! yyyaassss!!!! lol

Ohh thanks for the tequila suggestions. I'll switch out Patron for something else. I no longer drink tequila so I don't know much I just thought Patron was nice

@ELK Yards is an option, but I don't drink IPAs so I don't really know what's good and what isn't

S&P FH and his friends like IPAs and they will always go for Yards.

So you need 1,200 drinks (roughly).

I figured 50% beer, 25% wine, and 25% liquor (because I know my guests, usually swap the wine and beer estimates.

20 cases is 480 drinks (40% total)

60 bottles of wine (I am excluding toasting Champagne) is about 240 drinks. (20% total)

That is 720 drinks, 60% of your total needed. Do you think 40% of your people are drinking mixed drinks? I feel that is not enough Beer or wine IMO......

I second El Jimidor. Their Reposado makes really good margaritas.

S&P showed FH your list and he liked the original one. He's a bartender and he usually uses Tito's at home.

ETA I saw people talking about Patron and for some reason was thinking Tito's was a tequila. I think it's because of the hispanic sounding name. I don't make the drinks...I just drink them lol. More coffee before talkie! FH says for tequila he likes Cazadores.

Isn't that so strange ? We're not allowed to have shots at our venue either... And it sounds like more than enough to me. A lot of people like that goose ipa.

Personally I wouldn't do that many different kinds of beers I would limit it a little more.

I also like El Jimidor or Cuervo, but I prefer silver tequila in my cocktails, not anejo or repesados. But also, free booze, I wouldn't complain about the kind of booze.

Echoing the prosecco/sparkling wine recommendations. I almost never drink real champagne because of cost and there's so many good prosecco & sparkling options under $15 a bottle. I like Domaine Ste. Michelle for a sparkling option, I can get it for $9/bottle at Safeway, but it's a local winery, so I'm not sure if it would be more expensive in PA. But it is distributed nationwide. It's a light blue/teal label that says Michelle in big font on the bottle. I also am the person that will pick bubbles over most other drinks, so I'm with Staci and would be drinking bubbly all night.

Personally, I find all Andre way too sweet and haven't had it since college. I'd advise against it.

Pinots (both noir and grigio or gris) are very approachable, middle of the road wines for most people. If you like sweet or dry, you'll typically always drink Pinots. Blends are also good options & a Cab Sauv or Malbec for the people that want a bolder red with their short ribs are perfect. (We did Malbec for our beef eaters.) I also like the advice of boxed wines. Black Box or Bota would be my picks.

Oh, Patron is nice, but it is ridiculously expensive. lol

If you can afford it, because the bottles aren't super big for the prices, go for it. If its out of your budget though, you've got some good, less expensive alternatives.
