Help me choose my wedding shoes!

Marissa, on February 27, 2020 at 12:27 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 8

Hello all!

I need help deciding on wedding shoes!

Here's some background info: my ceremony will be on grass so I don't want to wear stiletto heels, and I don't like wearing heels in general; I want to be comfortable of course. My dress has some silver threading elements that I think would look gorgeous with silver/metallic/blingy shoes for photos.

So I can't decide if I should wear these metallic wedges, or just white flats. They're both pretty comfortable. I have attached photos of my dress' fabric with some shoes that I already bought.

I also plan on changing into white converse during the reception. Would the heel height make a difference for the alterations when I change to sneakers?

Sorry if you think I’m stressing out too much about shoes, I know anyone is hardly going to pay attention to them unless I want to show them off haha. Thanks!

The first pair are certainly very pretty. Thought about the wedges is how hard are they? I tried on some that were similar but I didn't choose them because I realized they weren't very flexible. You may be changing shoes but if the heel is hard standing around in them can tire you out quicker and cause pain in your legs if you aren't use to it. You also asked if it would make a difference in altering, typically yes. Alterations are normally done wearing you smallest heel. This is so so don't step or trip on your dress when you are at your shortest. you could end up seeing some of your shoe because it will be altered to the length of your converse.

The wedges are really comfortable and they're fine standing or walking in them. But yeah my problem is wearing them all day, I don't know how they would feel, that's why I may want to change into converse. Thanks for answering my question about alterations! That was my biggest concern haha.

Thanks everyone! I really love the first pair! Just concerned about how comfortable they'll be ALL day.
