Help me choose my bridesmaid outfits?

Kylee, on September 29, 2021 at 1:03 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 14
Which pajama set should I choose for getting ready? Both have buttons so hair and makeup won’t get messed up. I feel like the second set is what everyone wears. The prices difference between the two sets is $50. Help me choose my bridesmaid outfits? 1

I'm honestly not a fan of either but if I had to pick between the two I would go with the 2nd one.

I like the one that is $50 less. Seriously, don't spend a crazy ton of money on a prop for a few pictures. Prior to the last decade, people were happily getting ready in non-matching attire that looked just as cute in getting ready photos.

Yes, this, while also taking wedding party tastes and comfort level in mind if there will be professional photography involved. I wouldn't like to be officially photographed in either one of those outfits.

I agree. But setting that aside, I still think it's good advice to save money where you can and to consider the feelings of your nearest and dearest when making choices that affect them.

The second option would be more flattering on most people but this would be a better question for the people who will be wearing them.

I agree with this! Go with the cheaper option. I’d also ask my bridesmaids if they’re comfortable taking photos in whatever you choose. I asked my girls about their preference because I didn’t want to put anyone in shorts if they hated shorts or whatever.

I like that the first set is different but I don’t think it would flatter most figures. As a bustier lady there is absolutely no support in that kind of stretchy fabric and you’d be able to see through.
So, I’d go for the other set!

Agree 100%. I’m top heavy and avoid those styles for that exact reason.

Keep it simple and get a plain white button up and leggings or sweat pants at Old Navy or Target.

I recommend asking your bridesmaids if they are comfortable with this idea. I personally would not be comfortable in either option (both would look terrible on me, especially the top one), much less knowing I’d be photographed in them. For me, it would also feel like I were being asked to wear a costume for a staged Pinterest photo shoot, or like I were being treated like a prop. I want my bridesmaids to look like them as I know them in my pictures. Just my two cents. If they are all on board, go for it - just ask first.

I wouldn't wear either one of them, both are awful.
