Help! Map on wedding website

Can you not just copy&paste the link?

I tried that, but it shows up as a link, and not the actual map

Are you using the directions thing provided or the Map application? I'm using the Map application and it shows up on my site.

Hi Danya,

We would recommend using our Map application located in the apps portion of the wedding website tool. Please make sure you have entered in an address for both your Ceremony and Reception and the map tool will automatically pick it up from your account.

To edit your Ceremony and Reception information:

-Go to "Settings"

-Click "Manage Wedding Information"

-Update your address information

-Click "Update information"

To add map application to website:

-Go to "My Wedding"

-Click "Wedding Website"

-Click "Add app"

-Scroll down to the Maps application and click " Add"

If you have any other questions, please let us know!

I think you have to do a screen shot and paste it into photoshop or publisher, and work with it from there to create an image you can upload to the website. I think that's how my fiance did it.

My problem with the Map App is that our ceremony and reception are at the same venue, and the map icon shows only the reception. The offered driving directions link appears hardcoded and, while convenient for two-site weddings, looks unprofessional for single venue events.

Is there a solution to this?

I didn't worry about it. I put the actual address on the site and invites and told the guests to use their GPS or google it :/

I would have attached an actual map, but it was too expensive to have one made and printed.

I'm currently looking on the "My Wedding" > "Wedding Website" page, and I don't see anywhere to click "Add app". I only see "Add page", nothing about adding apps or apps of any kind!

Please help!

My guess is they no longer have the map application. I couldn't find it either and these posts are pretty old now. :/
