Help! Makeup trial gone wrong!

The first picture (I assume your makeup trial) is obviously makeup for photography. The second picture you posted doesn't look like you're wearing makeup at all. Your MUA actually did a really good job. You don't seem to understand that the makeup for your wedding is going to be heavier than your everyday makeup because of the photography. The motto among MUAs who do makeup for photography is more is more.

I think your makeup looks great. It's hard to compare your pictures because your hair is lighter in your other picture and your eyebrows are much lighter and not filled in on the before pic.

I agree with trying a different foundation, but overall, your MUA did a good job!

Less brow for sure! Wispier eyelashes to compliment a more neutral eye makeup.

And I'm just going to jump on the different foundation, more blush band wagons.

Overall, I don't think the MUA did a bad job. You look beautiful! It's just not what you were expecting is all.

Although the makeup is nice, you don't like it and you do look different. Maybe the mua did contouring and that's the problem. Show these pics to the new MUA as a "I don't want this" look.

The eyebrows are a bit heavy, and the contouring gives your face a lot of sharpness. I think the rest is nice. Maybe ask for a less defined eye brow look, and less contouring.

This was awful so, trust me I know how you feel. The foundation washed me out and my eyebrows are way too bold. I did take to her and we just didn't "click" she didn't listen to my concerns and so, I ended up not booking with her.

I have a trial next month with someone else who's work is phenomenal. I'm super excited.

I understand you feel it is heavy, but in the pictures you look lovely (even the every day look). I would possibly do a slightly darker lip. Just my opinion.

I actually love it!! I would suggest asking for a different foundation that matches your skin tone better (that's my pet peeve!) and removing the lashes and you will probably like it better

I agree with you that it's too yellow, the undertone on the foundation is off. I would ask for the brows to be a little thinner, and for more color on your cheeks. I think your eyes look nice. Is your airbrush trial with a different artist? If so, personally I would show them these pictures and tell them what you don't like about it so they know more about what you like and don't like.

You may be better off with a pinker base and def slightly darker and better filled in eyebrows... she shouldn't have done your eyebrows lighter than your own hair

I can see the yellow you're taking about. And the mascara looks...off. chunky maybe? A little blush could've helped take away the yellow.

Don't be discouraged! Perhaps take in a photo of the natural look you want so your next trial can go more smoothly. I hope it works out!

The makeup looks good. You just look like a different person. You're so beautiful without! If you're uncomfortable with the make up then mention it to the MUA.

You look gorgeous without the makeup...maybe take thisnphoto to your airbrush trial so they can see what you dont want...Eyebrows are a bit much they could tone it down there...maybe change up the style of eyelashes..Foundation is off too pale..bc it looks like your natural skin has pink undertones...

The colors were definitely wrong. Once color matched correctly I think you'll be happy!

The reason why you are feeling that way is because they made your eye brows so dark and bold. They did this to me for my friends wedding which I was MOH in. She told me to leave it because it's so much better for picture and really, it was and I got used to it. I now use a little pencil to fill my brows in everyday and I love it. Your makeup in that photo is not over the top. I think the color they used for your face and foundation is a bit yellow and doesn't do your skin tone justice. You are beautiful and you will find a happy medium !!!

I think it looks pretty. Maybe the eye brows and shadow are what you don't like? In pictures and from far away it will look like nothing.
