Help!! Hair is too short....

Heather , on March 25, 2017 at 7:49 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 39

I chopped my hair back in January, I know dumb! It's thin and naturally straight and I was frustrated with it! Well now I am struggling to find a hair style for the wedding! My hair stylist says it's too short for extensions.. I googled and found pics of girls with shorter hair than mine with extensions. If I can't do extensions I am not sure what I will do:/ I regret cutting it so bad! Any ladies on here with short hair!? What are y'all doing for your hairstyle? Thanks!

Find a better hair stylist. You can definitely do extensions.

I don't know anything about extensions but I say rock the short hair with a statement headband or birdcage veil.

I have short hair. I started letting it grow and taking hair, skin, and nail vitamins. I had my stylist try some new look today.

That's cute @brendam I have a hair piece I am using , I will upload a pic! I want to rock the hair short but don't know how I am going to wear it! My hair won't hold curls for a long time.

Curl your hair with a flat iron. My stylist says you can use a smidge if hairspary on section of hair and use flatviron to pull hair the way you want. I tried it, it works.

I will try that! I need to curl it and see how it looks and holds. I'm just not a girly girl and haven't experimented lol! I'm going to set up a hair trial this upcoming week!

You could totalky do extensions it just might take several sets of hair and thats more money. I used to work at a hair salon (as an esthetician) and I would hear stylists say something cant be done (especially extensions and updos) when what they really mean is "i dont feel comfortable doing them". Get a second opinion with someone who specializes it them! Then you could go back to your usual stylist if you really wanted. I think your hair looks cute btw

@vilma I think that's what they mean! Some hair stylist are just too scared. I know a lady that specializes in them and I need to talk to her and see what she says! Money wise is going to be the hard part! They get so expensive.

Your hair is NOT too short for extensions. You just need a new stylist who knows what to do

Find a BRIDAL hairstylist, and/or a better hairdresser. The only people who can't wear extensions are those who are bald, and even then they can just wear a wig.

Gymrat is right! I have long hair but just bought extensions for my wedding because I wanted a really glam style... that being said the company I bought extensions from says on their website that their product works best when hair is 6 inches or longer. Your hair looked 6 inches long to me!!!

My hair was way shorter than yours when I did a trial with extensions. If you want them find another stylist. Otherwise keep your short hair and get an awesome hair accessory

You are going to need a lot of extensions to make that transition. Price it out first as I can't even imagine what the price would be. Also the weight of that many extensions would be insane. Your head would be throbbing.
