We sent out about 164 invitations back on December 28th. Our deadline is this Wednesday the 27th, which I figured would be MORE than enough time since it's 4-1/2 weeks. Well, I was obviously WRONG! As of today, we are still missing 70, YES SEVENTY, RSVP's that haven't been sent yet! I am going OUT...

I am going OUT OF MY MIND right now! I mean come on, what is so hard about writing your name on the line, check off if you're attending or not, putting it in the envelope and dropping it in the mailbox ?!?!? It's not like there's no stamp on the envelope and you have to make a trip to the post office to buy one! My next problem is about 40 of them are FH's side which NONE of us communicate with, so we have NO way of contacting them besides through the mail. I can't rely on his mom calling them, because she didn't when we had the same problem with my Shower. I'm just praying his SIL has everyone's updated e-mail address. AHHHHHHHH! I feel a lil better now LOL TIA!

My FH's cousin from CT (that I never met & he hasn't seen since they were probably babies) just e-mailed me and she's tracking down EVERYONE that lives up there for me... She actually already got back to me on about 7 of them (out of 10)... I never met her, but I swear I LOVE HER already! LMAO I feel I have to find her a lil something to show my gratitude for all her help... Any ideas on what I can get her ?!? Nothing expensive, but nothing too cheap! Now it's a waiting game for the rest!

Hey all! I know I haven't posted on here in a few days, but we've been crazy busy with planning... 4 weeks from today! Anywaysssssss... We got a good amount of RSVP's in the mail everyday since Wednesday, along with some we received through phone calls and e-mails... SO, now we're waiting for 25 more... Out of those 25, we know the status of about 9 and are just waiting for the cards to come in... As for the other 16, there are 3 we're not really expecting one from (2 are a mother & daughter and the mother has alzheimer's, 1 is my sister's FIL who recently became widowed and only went to events like that with his wife)... So it's safe to say there are about 13 that we have no clue on their intentions... I'm gonna give them until Tuesday and then I'll make some phone calls... That's all for now... I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone that replied and gave me support and advice... THANK YOU! :-)

Look their numbers up online--you might be able to find a white-page listing for them. Don't assume they won't come if they don't RSVP--that would really suck if you assumed they weren't going to show up, and they did.

MrsJoseph, I think you’re missing the point when it comes to MyRSVPLive.com. Considering that the cost of hosting one guest at your wedding can be in excess of $50 (with meals, rentals, souvenirs) dollars then if 5 guests RSVP saying they are declining the invitation that you though were coming you save yourself $250. And because your giving your guests more options to RSVP, simply by picking up the phone or logging onto the web then more of them will respond.
