Hello! I have a question regarding fit and flare alterations. I ordered the Allure Bridal 9416 dress. When I tried it on in the shop, it was two sizes too small, but looked amazing on me when it was all clamped. I just got my dress in and it’s big in a lot of places, especially in the hips about 4 inches or so. Because it’s a bigger size, the flare part of my dress is starting lower than when I tried on the sample, right about at my knee instead of a few inches higher around mid-thigh where it should be. I know nothing about alterations or sewing. Does anyone know if the seamstress will be able to raise the flare part of my dress to my mid-thigh where it belongs? I’ll attach a picture of the dress and what it’s supposed to look like. Any help will be appreciated!
