Help! Fall/rustic wedding September 5th in a country club?

I do not see pics but I will say rustic and country club are two different styles so I see what he means. I think country club and I think more elegance and classy. Rustic can be beautiful but you would need to work to get the two combined which can be done. Maybe do more spring style colors and incorporate green into the bouquet?

I got married at a country club in October and wanted a classy/rustic vibe, and I think it came across. The golf course is situated on gorgeous land surrounded by trees and had a very woodsy feel.

For centerpieces, we did round wood slabs with eucalyptus, black lanterns, and copper fairy lights.

Our favors were little honey jars.

For the card/gift table, we did a display of wood crates, lanterns, fairy lights, and greenery. Our card box was wood, and our guestbook was also a wood board.

Our color scheme was navy, copper, sage/greenery, grey, and wood accents. I think it all worked!

I will also be getting married at a Country Club! I think you can make the rustic look work. My venue has tons of example pictures from previous weddings and most people go with the elegant/classy look, but they also have examples of the rustic look as well. You could ask to see some example pictures to get some ideas. Also ask about switching out the classic chairs with wooden chairs. You'll just have to work it in into how you decorate, use some wood centerpieces and lots of green leaves!
