Help choosing wedding band that complements my E-ring

mataDC, on April 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17

Custom engagement ring with white gold Center and rose gold milgrain edging. Can't afford to buy a custom matching wedding band right now, maybe later as an anniversary gift. Looking to buy a stock wedding band that complements the engagement ring. What do you think of the one in the photo? The shape doesn't completely match but it does have rose gold and milgrain. Or what about the bands I posted on Pinterest , http://pin.it/wVAdZRf ?

I think your engagement ring would stand out more if your band was more on the plain side. If you still want 'bling' then a band with diamonds around it - just not braided.

Ya less is more in this instance. You could do a diamond band, but I wound't go with a braided band

I agree with both PP. A simple rose gold eternity band would compliment your engagement ring.

The braids have different lengths and widths which makes them clash. They don't look like a set at all imho.

Your pinterst bands. Skip the first two, and of the rest will work great.

I like the more simple ones on your pinterest - just a thin band with diamonds and milgrain.

Here's the E-ring next to a completely plain rose gold band. I am a little wary about having small stones fall out, so a band with just milgrain would also be an option, like this- https://www.brilliantearth.com/2mm-Milgrain-Wedding-Ring-Rose-Gold-BE2102/

I have a braided band too, with a plain band with channel set stones. I love the way it looks!

I'm with Ashley, try about a 1/2ct diamond eternity band set in rose gold. Your engagement ring is phenomenal.

Well, I tried a bunch of bands today but I'm still not in love with any of them!

Here's a contoured band, wish the stones extended further to the length of the braiding.

1 Chevron band. Does the V look too deep though?

But 2 Chevron bands look more balanced (sorta like a ring guard). The bands shown here are different metals, but if I went this route, I'd get both in rose gold.

I have a braided engagement ring and mine came as a set with two bands much like the 2 chevron bands in your picture. For me I think it complements my engagement ring plus I have long fingers so it was also a way to make my ring look better on my hand.

The chevron rings look gorgeous! I don't think the 'v' is too deep at all.

So far, I think I'm leaning towards 2 chevron bands. I think both pointing away from the diamond creates a cute frame. Both pointing towards makes the set spin less though. Hoping to find a ring guard with either pattern.
