Help! Can’t decide on colors for April 2020!

I’m recently engaged (yay!) and all the aspects of wedding planning seem so fun but it seems that even just the first decision I’m making isn’t coming so easily.
For the life of me, I can’t decide on a color scheme/pallet for our wedding.
We have decided on sometime mid/late April of next year! I want the overall feel of the wedding to be romantic and I want flowers more than anything.

Please help! Any suggestions are so welcomed and appreciated!!

Hi Kasey and congratulations!! Have you found a venue yet? We chose our color scheme once we chose a venue as we wanted to ensure our venue complimented our wedding and vice versa.

I chose mine based off colors I like that I felt go well together. So do you have a favorite color? Maybe you can base off that.

My MOH got married in April 2018, and her colors were lavender and light grey with sage accents. My brother and sister-in-law got married in April 2015, and their colors were plum and grey. I've been to several weddings in April that include purple as a color! Have you looked on Pinterest or pictures of friends' weddings to get an inspiration? I'm getting married in February, but my colors are pink (light and medium) and navy with rose gold, gold, and silver accents. I got the pink and navy inspiration from Pinterest and pictures from someone I know from back home's wedding! I love sparkle and shiny things so that's how I decided on including rose gold, gold, and silver.

Congrats! I would suggest waiting until you have a date and venue locked down. That way you can plan on spaces and what will already be provided.
I took a few trips to craft stores to get a feel for what I liked and to price items.

Fellow April 2020 Bride here! We chose navy blue, gold, and silver as our colors because we love how they look, and those colors are easy to find all year round and match with everything!

Definitely get your venue first so your colors don't clash with their normal decor. Also think about what kind of flowers you want and what colors they come in! Consider that if you want to stick within a budget you probably want flowers that are in season. Good luck 😊
