Help! Candlelight gown??

I tried on a dress in candlelight and it was more of an ivory gold it's very pretty but not close to diamond white. Did they have a swatch that you could look at?

Nope, no swatch in the store...she said she would try to get one from the designer (local) by my appointment on Saturday...all of these shades of white are driving me crazy!!! lol

It is more on the ivory side. Very pretty though. I was actually engaged several years before my now engagement and my first wedding dress was candlelight which I loved and looked great with a tan. I had every intention of getting this same color in my now dress as it was the same designer. However, the dress I fell in love with came in either white or diamond white. I went for the diamond white. Diamond white is not as stark as white and toned down slightly but no where near the ivory side. So for future reference remember diamond white is lighter than white and candlelight is on the creamier side but not that dark. Good luck!

Thanks @Kristen S. I really wish I could get diamond white. I may just go for white since I don't want the ivory color. I'm still hoping to see a swatch of the candlelight when I go in for my appointment this weekend.

My dress is candlelight. It is ivory, but it doesn't have a yellow tone to it. When the consultant carried out about 5-6 dresses for me to try, my eye went immediately to the candlelight one. I actually think there are whitish undertones to it, but that could all depend on the manufacturer. I really love the color.
