Help! August 2019 Brides

Hi Kailyn! August 10th bride here!

We still have to:
-My hair trial: This Saturday
-Decide on our baker
-Order and mail invitations: Ordering next month
-Order flower girl dresses: Ordering next month
-Order my FH ring
-Lock in ceremony details with our officiant (my FFIL)
Those are the next tasks that we'll be knocking out between now and May. The remaining things are small tasks to make everything complete (decor for sweetheart table, centerpieces, accessories for our attire, make our day of timeline, etc).

What do you have left to do?

August 31st here! I will list out what I have left to do:

-Find hair and makeup artist

-Finish DIY unity cross and DIY guest book

-Order FH wedding band

-Order and mail invitations

-Figure out ceremony details with officiant

-Order glassware and alcohol for bar

- Pay for the rest of things lol

I’m not getting married in August but I think you are fine as long as you have a venue booked by now which you obviously do!

Make sure to book your caterer, photographer, and officiant next. And start looking for dresses!

I’m getting married August 31 and I can tell you right now, you probably aren’t as far behind as I am. I still have to
- book the cake and desserts
- book hair and makeup
-get FHs suit
-get everything for the bridal party
- set up music
-get decor for everything
- make and send invitations

Also getting married August 3rd! We started last September so I have most of the major vendors locked in.
I think you still have time, just make sure lock in caterer and photographer soon!

August 11 here! I'm planning to complete these this month/next month:

- book DJ

- do cake tasting and select the cake vendor

- book hair and makeup

- order wedding rings

- bridesmaids & groomsmen need to order their outfits

Hi there! We are getting married 8/16. I have everything under control with the exception of FH attire and wedding band, rehearsal plans, and where in the world I am getting ready (venue which has no dedicated bridal suite or our hotel that we will stay in that evening). I am worried about any details that I am forgetting, but have a wedding planner that keeps me on track so feeling relatively good.....I think. Lol!

We're August 24.

We have: my dress, the venue booked, STDs sent, DJ lined up, website half set up, bridal party nearly set, videographer lined up, precana attended... and that's it? I think?

Sometimes I feel like I'm catching up, and other times I feel like I'm falling way behind.

I'm an Aug 30th bride. It's so nice to see others feeling in the same boat. I feel a little lost as I'm planning from out of state. Currently I am working to finalize attire for everyone, hoping to schedule and meet with florist, makeup/hair, and bakery within the next month. This week planning to find and block hotel rooms. Oh, and also need to find and purchase wedding band for FH. Also lots of decor planning and making.. probably forgetting some stuff lol

Hey guys August 29th bride here I feel a little behind to still have to send out the save the dates get the photographer plus deciding on cute wedding favors I already got my venue my wedding officiant my limos my dress my girls got their dresses my flower girl got hers just now deciding what hair style do I want and that's becoming frustrating

Pay off vendors... photo officiant DJ and venue. All have 50% deposit.
Order invites.
Do my hair and makeup trial.
My dress was shipped in damaged so waiting for that to be fixed to start my fittings.
Plan Ceremony details.
Get our wedding bands

We are in the same boat! 8/11 here, and we still need:

-event insurance
-decor

-Ordered dress

-gave dress info to bridesmaids
-brother in law officiating
-friend djing (is a dj)
-invites are in but not sent

-Grooms suit and groomsman suites

I'm doing my own hair and make up.

Honestly as long as we have a when, where, and officiant the rest is just extra.

Here is what we have done so far :
Photographer booked and e shoot scheduled, hair/makeup booked and trial scheduled, bakery booked, DJ booked, venue of course, caterer is booked - we just have to make our final food and alcohol suggestions, wedding planner/officiant done, wedding dress & FH suit are in our possession, and all decor and florals are planned.

Here is is what I need to finish :
E shoot outfit, undergarments and lingerie for wedding day, purchase linens and decor items, order invites - I already have the printable from Etsy, seating chart DIY, and PAY for everything! 😂

Picking out DJ services and still waiting on invites to come back... for the RSVPs... gathering last minute details... feeling slightbpressure but I know everything will work itself out! Keeping the faith lol

Oh sorry forgot to add services done:: catering locked...Venue paid for...flowers planning booked..decor booked...linens are covered by catering done...dress is paid for...shoes are cowgirl boots paid...bridemaid dresses are paid for by the bridesmaid..tuxes the guys are renting thier own...flower girl dresses paid and done...officiant still waiting on reply ugh...flower girl baskets paid and flowers bought... ring bear is our oldest son his gear is paid for... honeymoon vaca paid for...rental for night before paid for the bridesmaids..only thing left to do:: go over the catering menue choices...pick our songs from the dj.. get our reception morph video put together....final details on set up for decor...chalk board signs written and proofed... Hair and makeup session...photographer and videography still need to be paid for the rest of the deposits done...ugh...bridal jewelry still needs to be paid for...bridal gifts are on the way with the groomsmen gifts...still need to book tanning appt...nails... its Scramble time enough said for August 25th...Kelley Farm Venue!

August 24th bride. Even though most of the time my brain feels like a bowl of pudding, I have a good bit of the major stuff taken care of... I think. Lol

Flower girl baskets are paid for

We just have a few other things to worry about. If anyone can think of something I am forgetting, feel free to let me know. Lol
