Heel Caps that help you from sinking into the grass?

Cindy, on September 16, 2010 at 2:06 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

I remember someone posted awhile back some sort of little cap or something that you put on your heels to prevent them from sinking in the grass but now I can't seem to find them. Anyone know where I can find these?

It sounds like a Google search might help, to be honest I have never heard of such a thing.

Anyone ever use anything like these? Just wondering if they work or if you just sink into a bigger hole. haha.

I posted about this a while ago, and it was the same site that K.H. posted. I have them, and they're great!

So I've been watching everyone on this site for the last year getting ready for my wedding, and this is the first time I've worked up the nerve to post -

I used solemates for my wedding, which was all outdoors - I spent the day running around fields of grass in 3 inch heels and did not sink in at all - my only caution is that if the heels are extra skinny they might slip out of the heel covering (one of mine did, and my sister gave me hers to take over).

    Hope this helps Smiley smile

I got those soulmates, i thought they were only $10 when we got them... I got a pair for all my BM too... They worked great!! but Like CB said the skinner heals don't work very well. I had pretty skinny heals but my sisters were even thinner and hers kept popping out... but she was the only one with a problem, everyone else loved them!!!

I actually have another suggestion for you. As an avid shoe lover, there is another high heel protector that I swear by called IdealHeel (www.IdealHeel.com). IdealHeels actually protect the entire heel of your shoe from being scuffed and ruined. It prevents you from sinking into the grass and also makes it soooo much easier when you are trekking on different surfaces. I am actually going to give each one of my bridesmaids a pair for my outdoor wedding. I hope this helps: )
