Head table

Does the bride seat to the right or left of the groom at the head table?

I sat to the left of my groom, and my MOH sat next to me and the BM sat next to DH... then we went boy girl according to partners... like partners sat together... I don't think it really matters... it seems kind of backwards now that i think about it cuz when we were at the alter we were flipped... they might have flipped my seating chart... oh well....

LOL I sat to the right of my groom. We had a sweetheart table, so it was just the 2 of us.

I sat to the left of my groom. But I'm a lefty, so that's normal for us.

I don't think thers a right answer lol I think u should sit on whatever side u want but just have ur girls sit next to u and his guys next to him.

Mellojean. too funny. im a lefty also and thought i was the only one that had to think about what side to sit on so we dont bump elbows. lol

I sat to the right of my groom and then my MOH was next to me and then my BM was next to her, and the same for DH's side, only guys. It doesn't really matter which way you do it.

Most weddings I've been to, the bride sits to the right of the groom (so that facing the head table the bride & BMs are on the "brides side" like in the ceremony). I'm sure it doesn't matter, and you can do whatever you want, but that is what I've typically seen.

My daughter sat to the right of her groom. The MOH and BM's were next to her...the Best man and Groomsmen were next to the groom.
