Hi everyone.
So glad to have forums like this!
Me and my fiancé are newly engaged and I’m really just wanting a small intimate ceremony and maybe a small venue for 30 ppl max somewhere in NYC. I love boho chic so like the forest look to even just a rooftop with the best view. Lord this is stressful! 😩

Start with your budget first before planning anything. That'll give you a good idea of where to start. There are a lot of budget calculators online. Have fun planning and congrats!

One of my favorite venues in NYC is 620 Loft and Garden. It's a beautiful garden rooftop with an incredible view. I went to a smallish wedding there and it was amazing. I considered it when I was engaged in the past.

Congratulations on your engagement!! Definitely check out the venue tab here on WeddingWire, there should be quite a few options listed for a 30-guest event. Happy wedding planning!

You already know your approximate guestlist and vibe-- good for you! Next, discuss your budget with your partner prior to venue searches. You'll prob get a wedding date based on the availability of your venue. I went to a gorgeous cocktail wedding at the Skylark where drinks were served on the roofdeck during the ceremony/reception flip. Beyond Manhattan, also try LIC hotels for rooftop, and Brooklyn for water views. Queens has Terrace on the Park for city views, and the Rockaway Beach hotel for ocean views. Long Island also has ocean views and winery options. Manhattan will be 10-20k more expensive than the outer boroughs and L.I. where the average is about 45- 55k. But, you are also like the bohemian flair, so you may have many alternative spaces that are not all-inclusive. Best wishes, Bride!
