Yes, HP does run small. It all really depends on your largest measurement. I'm a 00-0 in regular clothes, but they ordered me a 6 because I have a bigger butt. They said every other measurement would have been an HP size 4, but they wanted to be safe and make sure I could fit the dress on!

I wore a Hayley Paige for my own wedding & also manage a salon where her line is sold. I can't speak specifically for the Blush part of her line BUT if it is anything like her regular Hayley Paige & Bridesmaid line, she does tend to run small. Typically 3 sizes above street size. Your consultant may have gone with the 4 depending on the silhouette of your gown? i.e. If your bust and waist were measuring a 4 and hips a 6, she may have picked the 4 since your hip being one size up in a ballgown doesn't have an impact?

Thank you ladies! This makes me feel better! My consultant told me I would be a size 2 in everything but my hips so we went with the 4! Fingers cross it fits!

I have a Hayley Paige gown I am a street size 4-6 and I am a bridal size 8 but I got a sample sale dress that is a size 12

It is a mermaid fit! I may go back into the salon tomorrow and have them resize me just to be sure. I am a very petite person... so I'm praying the 4 will be perfect!

I also bought a Hayley Paige dress and was in the exact same situation! I am between 2 and 4.. my chest is size 2 but my hips are size 4. I went with the 4. The consultant said it's easier to take in than to let out.

Would you mind sharing your measurements? I just bought the blush by Hailey Paige "Pepper" dress. I am a street size 0-2 and they recommended I go with an 8, but I pushed back and got the 6! I'm a 34-26-35.
