Hey there! I am thinking of getting married in Hawaii, preferably in the Island of Oahu. Honestly it seems, wherever I host my ceremony in Hawaii, it will be beautiful no matter what. What I'm concerned about is the wedding reception. I've done my research and it seems most outdoor events must finish by 10 pm. For me, dancing and celebrating for my reception is very important! So I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on possibly indoor venues that have a later curfew. Or if there are any other suggestions that allow us to dance the night away, let me know!

    Hi Rachel! That's the general rule in the continental US as well - almost all wedding venues require the reception to end by 10 or 11pm (because of local noise ordinances).

    Sometimes you can have more luck with restaurants that also double as bars and already regularly serve alcohol late night! Otherwise the popular option is to host an after-party, or to pick a bar for guests to reconvene at after the reception! 🥂

    Hey there! FH and I recently decided to cancel our wedding last week and elope in Hawaii instead. Our honeymoon was already booked there and I was so over everything with this pandemic.


    How many guests will you have? At the beginning of the year, I initially thought of having a small (15 to 20 person) wedding out there.
