Having Wedding Dress Regrets/second thoughts

@Sdot - oh wow, third dress?! Were you able to return the other two?? I'm hoping it'll all come together... I feel I would be so indecisive if I started the process again from square one!

It's gorgeous! He will love it too regardless of what he is used to because it's you! I told my FH that my dress wasn't as traditional as he is used to and he said as long as I feel good in it and I have a smile on my face he doesn't care what I walk down the aisle in. I'm sure your FH feels the same way!

You look beautiful in the dress! And the picture with your mom (I'm assuming) is super sweet! With all the beautiful pictures floating around on the internet and especially pinterest/instagram it is easy to start looking at other options. I was wondering how I would feel about mine after the long wait to get it in, but it was super helpful to see my actual dress once it came in. My MOH said I couldn't stop smiling and spinning; I never wanted to take it off. It was so much easier to remember all the special reasons that I picked that dress once I saw it again. You'll look beautiful, and if you feel really strongly the other way in November then maybe think more about it.

Girl, it's stunning on you and was a special moment shared with you and Mom. Comparison is the thief of joy. You look amazing in it, and it will be even more spectacular when it fits.

Don't doubt your decision. You look amazing in that dress! I found so many dresses I loved online and then hated in person.

Consider too that the dress will look better when altered to fit you. I was amazed at the difference once mine was fitted. Also I think it's normal to have second thoughts. I felt similarly until my fitting

Thank you so much, everyone! I've been trying to wait patiently until I get to go try on my dress for the first time since I ordered it. It just got in this week! Will try it on Thanksgiving weekend :-) I'm really hoping that it will wash away any doubt that was in my mind!

@Shannan I love that analogy - and it's so true! I picked it for a reason and who cares what others are out there? I've done better about deleting bridal IG accounts and just trying to look at my dress alone over and over again lol. I think the fact that I tried on a size 12 of it in a different shop is what has me second guessing. So, here's hoping!

Thanks Kylee! I get my dress Thanksgiving weekend... I'm so anxious! I'm hoping once I see it all together I'll fall in love with it all over again, despite all the other gorgeous options out there. Like y'all said, I picked it for a reason! And as gorgeous as all the poofy, tulle-filled dresses are, they all made me feel swallowed up when I tried them on since I'm so petite. I need to keep reminding myself that. Wedding jitters I suppose!
