Having to buy a dress off the rack! Help!

Davids bridal can order in a dress in only a few weeka. Id start there since it may be hard to find one off the rack

I bought a sample dress. Most bridal stores sell some sample, but you'll just have a more limited availability on what dresses she can have. We got 25% off of my dress for taking the sample instead of ordering a new one too

Has she considered buying a bridesmaid dress in off-white or ivory? Sometimes they can be bough off the rack.

Find a sample salon! You can take it home that day and if you take it to a tailor the turnaround isnt very much!

I bought my gown off the rack at David's bridal. They also ask you when the wedding is and can tell you how much time it will take if you order one.

You could also try modcloth. It will be less formal, of course, but they still look bridal.

You should check out Brides Across America! They offer free wedding gowns to military couples. Their next big event is in july and I know that's cutting it too close, but some salons do smaller events with them. I think it's definitely worth checking out!

I've bought off the rack. Call around to some of the local bridal shops and see what they suggest. There also might be a non-profit in the area that gets samples from bridal shops (there are at least two in my area).

Davids bridal for sure! They have a variety of really beautiful and trendy gowns, and they can order them fast. You can also pay extra for express shipping.

You could call local boutique salons and see when they are having sample sales, too, or ask the employees what options they have for buying off the rack.

If your 6 months out that might be enough time to order mine only took 3 months to come in. Ask the consultants but it could be possible.

I ordered mine from David's Bridal online. Clicked the button on a Tuesday and it was in my hands on Friday that week. It was the DB brand and in stock. I had tried on the dress in the store so I knew what I was looking for. It will need to be taken in but that's not a big deal.

I planned my wedding in 7 months. I ordered my dress from David's Bridal and it came in 3 weeks. You won't have to buy off the rack if you don't want to.

I got my dress at Davids bridal. I had 5 months total to find my dress. Before I found my dress I asked my consultant to only show me dresses that would come in on time and she was more than willing to look up ship dates for me

My bridal salon had a discontinued rack with dresses that you bought off the rack and that's where I found mine. It was also 40% off since it was discontinued which was great.
