Having Dress regret

So I went dress shopping back in May and absolutely fell in love with this dress. Excuse my purple bra straps. This was the 4th dress that I tried on and was like oh yea this is it. The picture does absolutely no justice for it. Thing is I’m starting to think that as a 44 yr old bride I should have...
So I went dress shopping back in May and absolutely fell in love with this dress. Excuse my purple bra straps. This was the 4th dress that I tried on and was like oh yea this is it. The picture does absolutely no justice for it. Thing is I’m starting to think that as a 44 yr old bride I should have picked something else. Like if a younger me was getting married it would be more suitable.


What are you guys thoughts. Should me as an older bride have went with something a little less puffy?

    I think this is a beautiful dress, and it looks great on you. Age doesn't matter All that matters is that you love the dress and feel like a bride in it. I bought a dress before covid and started regretting after as well. I ended up returning it cause I just didn't feel like a bride in it.

    First of allllllllll. You look abosuletly stunning in the dress. Secondly hunni you wear the dresss and not the other way around. If you feel uncomfortable because it's not your style so be it but DON'T EVER SAY YOU CAN'T WEAR A DRESS BECAUSE OF YOUR AGE.

    Ultimately you should feel at your best on your wedding day.Values change and what caught your eye at the beginning of your journey may not catch your eye now.Initially I wanted a ballroom gown ,but purchased a mermaid style dress for some of the same shared reasons.If you are unsure about your dress.Change it now so that you don’t regret it later.     No! It looks so good on you. If the reason you’re questioning it is exclusively because of age, then I think you need to wear it. It’s beautiful, you look great in it, and it’s the one you loved. It’s your wedding day!!!! A day that is supposed to make you feel as young and fun and happy and magical as ever!

    Oh my gosh! I completely understand. I’m 49 and have a puffy dress as well. At least you have an amazing figure! I can’t get out of my own head as well. It’s really hard but since I paid so much money for my dress there is no turning back. I’m 10 days away from my wedding and I’m not excited and just want it over with. Maybe once my FH sees me and if he tells me I look gorgeous then I will feel better. You do look absolutely stunning. I hope you will feel better about it. It’s hard when you feel this way.
