Have you ordered a dress online from Davids Bridal? And returned it?

Im thinking about ordering a dress from Davids Bridal online because they have a huge sample sale. Ive been into the store and tried on some of the same silhouette so I know what size I need. Im worried about ordering a style online in my size and not liking the way it looks on me and then returning it. It states online how to return it and that they will refund the purchase price. However it says they will not refund shipping costs. Does anyone know how much it would cost, rough ball park estimate, to return a dress? I dont want to spend $500 on a dress, not like it, and want to return it but the shipping costs be like $100 out of pocket. Any one have any insight into this? Would really appreciate some feedback

You could try going to the store to see if they will price match online? Then you could try it on?
I'm pretty sure sample sale dresses are final sale no returns.

Cindy - Kristina, who commented above, said it took about 2 weeks for her refund.

*UPDATE* I was able to find the same dress in the store that I fell i love with online today. Its the one! So I just ordered it from the sample sale online. It was originally a $1700 dress and it was on sale in the store for $700 and I just ordered it for $450 off the sample sale online!! I was able to use this Promo Code MARROACWG16 which took 10% off my total order. Maybe it will work again for someone, worth a shot!

I bought my dress from David's Bridal online and it was a sample which was 'final sale' and 'not returnable'. However, they have great customer service and want you to be happy. They don't let you return the dress to a store and they won't let you refund, but they did let me exchange it. I paid shipping to return the first dress then had the replacement shipped to a store for free.

I bought dress online from David's last year, $99 sale. I didn't realize until I was trying to return it that there are no returns allowed on sale items.
Be sure to read the fine print!

Courtney CtoS - Thats really strange they said you couldnt return a sample sale dress. I found this right on the page of the dress i ordered from the sample sale

@Brittany: a lot have that in the print, but in other areas, will say "final sale only" on them.

Shipping would be like $8-10. I am doing this waiting for my package to arrive today! If you are only buying one dress and pretty sure you like that style i think its worth it
