Have you ever had dress regret?

Having cold feet about your wedding dress decision is really common!! Continuing to browse and to "see what else is out there" can be a slippery slope, but if you've truly fallen out of love with your dress we definitely recommend calling an audible! Are you innocent or guilty of having dress...

Are you innocent or guilty of having dress regret? If you're guilty - how did you deal with it?

I’m guilty of this. Purchased and ordered, but got it in ivory instead of blush because although I loved it I didn’t feel “like a bride”. I think it was the fact it wasn’t white buuuut I have doubts because what if I dislike it in ivory?! David’s bridal won’t do returns either. Yikes

I think I regretted how much I spent on a dress. It was a fleeting thought that disappeared soooo quickly lol

I am guilty of this, and I bought 2 dresses. One is for our beach wedding, and the other is for our more formal reception when we return from our ceremony. My dress for the reception is beautiful, and I wish I could just wear it for both but it is a very delicate vintage material, probably paper/crepe. I will end up wearing both for both occasions, but I actually want to add to my vintage dress by adding a removable tulle skirt. So, no real remorse, but more along the lines of, "I just want more dress!" - Something to keep in mind though for summer weddings...I may end up forgoing this extra layer.

Slightly... but not really. It's only when I look at other dresses and get envious, but then I look at the picture I have of me in my dress and get over it quick!

Guilty. I really don't like a lot of bridal gowns. However, after trying it on again I fell back in love with it:-)

Kinda, I had a dress in mind... So, I went to a store that didn't carry the dress I wanted so I tried on a dress and fell in love with... A piece of me still wants to try the other dress

At my final fitting, once I got to see how the dress would actually fit, I immediately felt dress regret, but the alterations are irreversible.....sigh

No. I made two appointments to try dresses and bought my dress at my follow-up appointment. I sent pics of my top choices to family members to get their opinions and to give them an opportunity to send me pics of styles they wanted me to try since we live in different parts of the country.

Nope. I loved my dress. I went with my MIL on Bridal Dress Sale weekend or whatever it was and it was the last dress I tried on, I didn't even want to try on anymore but I knew it was the one and it cost $400. The only thing that bugged me was the stupid straps wouldn't stay up but eventually I stopped caring about that.

GUILTY, but not because I found something better. I just didn't have an over the top reaction to my dress like you see on TV. I know my fiancé will LOVE it and how it flatters my curves, and I feel beautiful in it, but something still feels like I'm settling...

Not to mention I tried the dress on in ivory, and moscato , but ordered it in white with white/silver stitching and when it came in the stitching didn't look white at all compared to the white fabric. The shoppe also made me order a size large than the sample and it was quite large, I'm thick but have an hourglass shape and you saw none of it, and even my booty was undefined... It's a mermaid style dress..... how is that even possible?! wishing for an alterations miracle.

Guilty. I bought my dress discontinued and was so in awe at first I didn't analyze the dress before buying it. It needs to be corrected by fixing some stitches and beading that has come loose from being tried on so many times. I can't return it or exchange it but every time I go in with doubts the store owner reassures me that the issues can be fixed and I fall in love again. I have 11 months to go so prayers that'll end up being the perfect dress the boutique has made me believe it can be!

Same here! I need to stop looking at other wedding dresses, because when I compare, I go, oh it's not bridal enough, and then I try on my dress and feel great again.

The dress regret was real. I finally think I got over it, but there's still so much time before my wedding it's hard to tell if it'll strike again.
