Have you ever had dress regret?

Having cold feet about your wedding dress decision is really common!! Continuing to browse and to "see what else is out there" can be a slippery slope, but if you've truly fallen out of love with your dress we definitely recommend calling an audible! Are you innocent or guilty of having dress...

Are you innocent or guilty of having dress regret? If you're guilty - how did you deal with it?

Innocent. I’ve tried on dresses and really love two but I don’t want to purchase until I’m 110% it’s the one. When I do purchase I’m not going to continue looking at dresses, whether in person or online.

I mean a little bit, but only because I wish I had the budget to spend on a traditional, more beautiful wedding dress. But then I think about how much money I saved and the regret goes away haha

Only time was my very first fitting where the lighting was off and my dress looked very yellow and not white. I had a minor panic attack

I do. I was stuck between two dresses and kind of regret my choice. They were so extremely different that I went with the one that made me cry. One was $1k more expensive and was the first dress I tried on but was a bit more raunchy for my taste, while the other was more royal and show-stopping and elegant and made me cry. I went for showstopping.

I regret it a little bc I keep doubting. I can't really remember the one I chose and don't have a lot of pics whereas I have a lot of pics and videos of the other one.

Slightly guilty--but when it arrived it was even better than I imagined (I ordered a customized bodysuit and bought the skirt off the rack elsewhere).

🙋🏼‍♀️ Guilty! I just really didn’t like the top of my dress at all, but I loved the back and bottom. So I have been going to alterations appointments to adjust the top and now I love it again! Just had to customize it to make it the best for me. 😊

Not sure. Tried on ALOT if dresses didn't really love or hate any. I guess partly because I knew going in that it any dress I got would need to be altered to be more like what I want. I finally got a dress about 3.5 weeks ago. Everyone was trying to get me to get one because my wedding is in October and it takes time to actually get the dress. I did like one at David's Bridal but I couldn't justify spending that much money on something I would wear once. So I tried to find something similar. I want success time was ticking so I just picked one I thought looked nice off veaul.com. it fit, looked like the picture for the most part and it came fast. Once I tried it in it was like I don't love it and I don't hate it; but I did order another one. I used this online photoshop tool to merge the pictures of the two of them into one dress and well guess what I love them combined so now I just need to take it to the lady at church who said she would help me make the dress to begin with and ask her to combine the two into one. It's an experiment we will see how it works out.

Guilty. Bought my dress way too early and have been in and out of love with it since it came in.

Not exactly a dress regret, but more like whether I look good in the dress. I had my first alterations appointment today and seeing myself in it, those thoughts went away.

Guilty, due to time and budget I have a simple dress. Its pretty but not t my dream dress. To get over it I’m getting a more detailed veil to really make me feel bridal.

Hmm that's a tough one! I don't regret buying my dress, but I do wish I could change some very minor things, such as the little flowers on the bodice of it. But I don't regret it enough to not tear up with happy tears when I think about wearing it again!

Sort of guilty. I have occasional dress regret because my dress hasn’t come in yet and I’m anxious about it.
